The fear with Aluminum in sprays is not the skin contact, but the nasal inhalation.  Direct inhalation has been linked to brain disorders.  This topic has been discussed for decades, but the products are still on the market, so you be the judge of the results.

I would definitelly not want highly soluble aluminum salts in my lungs as they are in generous contact with our blood-stream.  The idea that aluminum is "astringent" to collagen such as to seal perspiration ducts is an insane way to avoid perspiration odor! Why not take periodic baths instead?
