There are two tanneries using the posted recipe for several years with excellent results. This is why I posted it. Give it a try just to see if the results are as wanted. Of course the quality of the dyes should be, also, very good in order to achieve bright dyeings on vegetable leather.

Dear david,

We are using drums for veg tanning(fast tanning process approx. 12 hours). Can be color more bright if we change dyes combination only. For examples

1: Acid dyes mixing with metal complex dyes or with reactive dyes   

2: Low penetration dyes with fast penetration dyes.

 Or can use white syntan before top dyeing for more brighten the shade.
